Packing Information
Below are details of what you will find in the bungalows to help you when packing and planning for your holiday at Adair Bungalows
All bungalows have electric radiators that you have full control of.
WELCOME PACK
A welcome pack will be waiting for you upon arrival at your bungalow. This will include fresh locally grown flowers, coffee, sugar, tea bags, bread, local milk, butter and eggs. Please let us know if you have any special requirements.
You are able to order groceries to be delivered to your bungalow through Manor Farm Foods.
KITCHEN
Your bungalow has an electric hob and cooker, microwave and fridge with a small ice box. Seabass, Oyster,Mackerel, Chancre and Pebble each have a full height fridge/freezer and Seabass, Oyster and Pebble have their own dishwasher.
You will find cleaning materials, washing up liquid and brush, tea towels, oven gloves, bin liners, tin foil, kitchen roll and cling film. The kitchens are fully equipped but please ask if you would like to see a full inventory.
A highchair is available on request.
BATHROOM
Chancre’s bathroom is a wet room style and Oyster has a large walk in shower with a step into it. All of the other bungalows have showers over the baths.
A baby bath is available on request.
You will find bath and hand towels, a bath mat and toilet rolls to get your started.
BEDROOMS
Your beds are made up with duvets and two pillows per person.
If you have requested a travel cot a sheet for the cot mattress will be provided, please provide your own cot bedding.
There is a hairdryer and alarm clock provided in each bedroom.
You will find a wall mounted TV with integrated DVD player in each bedroom, and just the main bedroom for Ormer, Seagull and Puffin.
We ask that you bring your own beach towels.
LOUNGE
Your bungalow has a TV with a DVD player and satellite box. You will find a selection of DVDs in the conservatory area.
Seabass and Oyster each have an electrical wood burning effect fire.
WASHING FACILITIES
You will find washing machines and coin operated tumble dryers in the laundry room. There are washing lines in the garden along with a clothes horse and pegs in each bungalow.
WIFI AND PHONES
Wifi is provided free of charge.
We suggest that you check with your mobile phone provider that their service covers Guernsey.
ENTERTAINMENT
There is a selection of DVDs, books, games, puzzles and children’s toys in the conservatory for all of our guests use.
Leaflets for some of the local tourist attractions can also be found in the conservatory.
There are beach items and balls are in the conservatory area.
EATING OUT
Within a mile there are 4 restaurants/cafes.
There is also a very popular beach kiosk a 2 minute walk from the bungalows serving “the best coffee on the island” and home baked goodies.
FOOD SHOPPING
Along the road is a ‘mini supermarket’ on a garage forecourt which sells groceries, fresh fruit and vegetables, freshly baked bread and pastries, newspapers etc. Open from 07:00 to 20:00 daily on weekdays, 08:00 to 21:00 on Saturdays and 08:00 to 20:00 on Sundays. It can be reached from Adair Bungalows by turning left out of the driveway and following the main road for just under a mile.
Alternatively there is a COOP mini market about 1 mile to the right, which has a larger selection, just before Crabby Jacks.
Please remember to buy toilet roll when shopping as only an initial supply is left in the bungalow.
